Scrivendo queste poche righe di presentazione, mi accorgo di come sia complicato e forse inutile dare ragguagli o spiegazioni su quanto proposto. Mi piace pensare che chi decide di avvicinarsi alla nostra musica lo faccia con un ascolto libero da ogni condizionamento teorico, culturale, stilistico o altro. Penso che la cosa migliore sia cogliere le emozioni, se ci sono, che la musica deve saper dare. In ogni caso, dirò che nelle mie composizioni e nei due brani non originali si dovrebbero riconoscere le influenze della musica improvvisata di stampo “europeo” ma anche il convinto ancoraggio alle radici del jazz afroamericano. Buona musica.
